Transart Alumnus Zoran Poposki in Biennial of Graphic Arts

Dr. Deborah Cullen, the curator of the Biennial, has selected artists who survey extensions of traditional techniques, as well as new approaches to printmaking that respond to our 21st-century modes. Fresh applications of traditional media and innovative incorporations of new technologies attest to the lasting relevance of graphic processes. Interruption explores the graphic as both form and content, in an invigorated terrain that links the work of diverse contemporary artists from around the world. The Biennial exhibition is accompanied by an extensive catalogueThe 30th Biennial of Graphic Arts: Interruption. Essays discuss the Biennial’s curatorial focus, introduce this year’s edition and its 60-year history. These are followed by texts devoted to the winners of the Grand Prize and the Honorary Award of the previous edition of the Biennial: Regina José Galindo and Miklós Erdély. The catalogue is co-published by Black Dog Publishing, UK and MGLC, Slovenia.
