MFA candidate Sylvia Adamcik is featured in the exhibition “Occam’s Razor: Art, Science and Aesthetics” on view April 2—20, 2014 at Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts in Toronto. Inspired by a fourteenth century principle of problem-solving, the show features work refined by aesthetic practices based on the theory that, all things being equal, simpler solutions are better than complicated ones.

Panel discussions and a lecture accompany the show, which travels to !dea Gallery at the Ontario Science Centre, Toronto from May 3—June 1, 2014.
