KRISTINE SIEGEL co-founded PRAXES Center for Contemporary Art in Berlin in 2013. Prior to this, she worked as Program Director at ISCP, New York, at Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Tirana Biennale, Albania, and for Dennis Oppenheim Studio, New York. In addition, she has realized several independent exhibition and performance projects. Ms. Siegel is a PhD Fellow at University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Statement on Practice: I am interested in notions of temporality, duration and the ephemeral in artistic practices today, and how we may expand the curatorial and the institutional to critically reflect on these findings.
