Transart Institute offers low-residency MFA and low-residency PhD programs in Creative Practice.
Transart is an artist-led institute dedicated to helping artists enhance and grow their creative practices through intensive bi-annual residences complemented by individual advisement and peer critique groups. The Transart MFA and PhD programs are accredited by Plymouth University in the United Kingdom.
Transart Institute has no official campus — students and faculty live and work across the globe. Our low-residency model gives you the flexibility to live and work at home while gaining your graduate degree.
Work where you live as part of an international research community, engaged in international peer group critiques and working with advisers via email and Skype supplemented by intensives/workshops in Berlin (summer) and New York City (winter).
