Transart Alumna Victoria Estok “Mobilizing the Unrepresentable” at Transmediale 2k+12
Victoria presented her ongoing research cum sonic intervention Interpelled during the reSource Networks segment Isolation and Empowerment after Web 2.0. This segment featured work that explores the tensions of hierarchical control and the increasing connectivity and virtualisation of our social relationships by exposing the possible scenarios of networked dystopias, and asked its audience to rethink critical strategies while proposing new paths for political actions (both artistic and hacktivist) based on the recognition of the power of distributed subjectivities.
